Passing Time

As always, Christmas came and went all too quickly.  Nonetheless, I think this was my favorite Christmas ever.  Maybe it's because I'm more mature and able to appreciate the minor details, or maybe it's because I was surrounded by beautiful and amazing company.  Whatever it may be, I have been left more than satisfied.  Normally, I feel a case of the after Christmas blues a day or two after the holiday, but this year I only feel beyond blessed.

With nearly 30 inches of snow hitting my area the day after Christmas, I have been trapped in my house ever since.  After two hours of shoveling (without making a dent I may add) I decided shoveling wasn't really my forte.  With all of the family cars stuck, I am forced to remain home.

Passing the time at home became quite a challenge, but luckily my family acted as a decent source of entertainment for most of the time.

My sisters and I put on fashion shows for my mom in which we modeled all of our new Christmas gifts, and Fit TV became the ultimate source for a good workout.  My room needed a good organizing as well, so I passed the time with that too.  When all of this was done, I decided to get crackin' on this new blog, something I've been wanting to do for a while.  I even taught myself some basic photoshop skills and was able to create my little Christmas gift display that you see in the post.  The image includes the presents that I'm most excited about.

Thankfully a plow is coming tomorrow to relinquish our cars from the confines of the snow.
